I'm in online school so I didn't know if it would be different or not than regular school

Sounds like you are talking about highschool classes online and correspondence style? We have a system like that in our state.
My understanding is that if you are enrolled in an online school that issues you an official state transcript that transfers credit for credit to public schools. then those failing grades will be recorded on your transcript.
Yes, you will need to take them again (they are core classes and it is required that you not only have a certain amount of credits to advance, they have to be in certain classes), but the unknown is how that will reflect on your transcript. Talk to your counselor about that.
But, to answer your question about time. Yes, you should be able to retake them as soon as you want. The pace is usually up to you (as long as you finish by a certain deadline) Sometimes retaking a course you have failed may be a little different, so check in to that.
Study hard and good luck.

You need to contact the school your using on-line - I don't see why you couldn't to be honest - its just there policies that might be the problem - I would go to another on-line school if they are going to be too hardline on this.

Good Luck!!!

I suppose it would depend on the policy of the online school. Ask them!
