Here is what the President of the Church said to the men in the church:
Now I am told that racial slurs and denigrating remarks are sometimes heard among us. I remind you that no man who makes disparaging remarks concerning those of another race can consider himself a true disciple of Christ. Nor can he consider himself to be in harmony with the teachings of the Church of Christ. How can any man holding the Melchizedek Priesthood arrogantly assume that he is eligible for the priesthood whereas another who lives a righteous life but whose skin is of a different color is ineligible?
Throughout my service as a member of the First Presidency, I have recognized and spoken a number of times on the diversity we see in our society. It is all about us, and we must make an effort to accommodate that diversity.
Let us all recognize that each of us is a son or daughter of our Father in Heaven, who loves all of His children.
Brethren, there is no basis for racial hatred among the priesthood of this Church. If any within the sound of my voice is inclined to indulge in this, then let him go before the Lord and ask for forgiveness and be no more involved in such.

we see them just as anyone else would, as sons and daughters of a loving heavenly father. I live in New Zealand where everyone is basically Polynesian. You could refer to many of them as 'black' (they do themselves). No one ever even talks about it, it is not an issue. I have never prayed to Joseph Smith, we dont go on about Joseph Smith, we talk about Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith is just the founder... think Abraham or Moses, (you know, like a prophet. )
the only people that bring up black issues are the Mormon-hate groups in America.
Disability - if someone is truely disabled, they cant be condembed because they cant do wrong (child like mental capacity) therefore they are very clean and dont need baptism. I I on the other hand am not perfect, and needed it.

I've read this as well. The theory is that during the war in heaven some angels fought bravely and skillfully while some were less brave and less skilled. So when souls are born that were brave in heaven they are born white, souls that were less brave are yellow, less brave still are brown, and the least brave souls are born black. Not sure how accurate that is, but it is what I've read.

Mormons have skewed ideas about everyone but themselves. Then again they were founded by a man who thought he was God & who murdered people including his own follwers for their land & if they did not believe the way he thought they should. And, they marry children & think it is o.k. for the "MEN" to have more than one wife, but not for women to have more than one husband. This is more of a "cult" religion. It is based on the rantings of a self imposed leader.

I dont know much about them, and dont really want to. But, I heard that they believe that black people are the decendants of cain because he was marked. It makes sence, until you realize that all of cains decendants died in the flood. Thats enough for me to know that their religion is flawed. I dont know their beliefs on handicap people.

MORMONS are a cult. They CULT worship Joseph Smith. They used to not allow black people to participate in their priesthood. For more information on Mormons, look up " kolob " or look up " mountain meadows massacre ". Mormons believe that all others are going to hell. Some Mormons practice polygamy, having multiple wives.
