Your babies need to be with mom for at least 8 weeks, 10 if possible. The mother will lick their behinds when they are little and it stimulates them to go potty. And she will lick it up. This is natural. To give the puppies the best start in life, let them stay with mom and siblings as long as possible. As they get older they will play and this is very important as they are learning things that will make them the dogs they will be. And if you are allowing people to handle them, make sure everyone washes their hands first and removes their shoes at the door. Your puppies are vulnerable to parvovirus and many other things that can come in on hands and shoes. Good Luck!!

The eariest they should leave their mom is 7 weeks, but 8 weeks is better.
During the last two weeks, after they are eating solid food, they are socialized by mom and littermates, and learn much about being a good dog..It is a very important time for them.
Be sure to de-worm them at 3 weeks, and again at 6 weeks..Mom should get the treatment for roundworms at the same time.

7 weeks at the earliest. 10 weeks is better. Please get your dog spayed. We have enough dogs without homes. Yes puppies go fast as everyone wants a puppy, but so many get turned into animal shelters when they are no longer"cute little puppies". Do the right thing, and get your damn dog spayed!!!!

they must be a minimum of eight weeks old. NEVER give them away before this. They require a mother for at least that long before they are able to survive any kind of life experience. Plus, you dont want the ASPCA to get ahold of you if you give them away before that either, that a hefty fine and probably some jail time with it.

They should be at least 8 weeks old, but 10 weeks is better (especially if they are a small breed).
