Does anyone have a saturn VUE? I'm considering buying one and I would really like to hear about people's personal experiance with them. Performance? Safety (1yr.old daughter big issue)!!!

I don't know about the VUE but I have owned my 1999 Saturn SC1 coupe for 2 years and I love it. I have never had a car that has been so trustworthy... and I have owned everything from an escort to a mercedes.
My car has never "fallen apart" as a matter of fact it has never even broken down. It gets great gas mileage, it has dent resistant panels and suicide doors.
It will be paid off in 2 months and I am buying a Jeep but I am KEEPING the Saturn

http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/2007-saturn-vue.htm will give you specifics and reviews.

After the review, they say this about the Saturn: Our Best Buys include the Honda CR-V and Suzuki Grand Vitara. Our Recommended picks are the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, and Toyota RAV4.

Doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement. Doesn't do well in safety, prone to roll over, 3 on a 1 to 5 scale with 5 being less than 10% chance and 1 being over 40%

Even do is a good and affordable transportation when comparing with the others similiar cars base on price and quality it fall beyond them. I would reccomend a Kia sportage i had 2 and they give me excellent service and good value for the money also you get 10 year limited warranty. Of course Toyota and Honda are top line but they are pricey, I used to have a 1999 vitara and they are very reliable but maintenance is not cheap and the back seat is uncomfortable fot the kid's car seat. Now i'm on the market for a minivan and after 2 weeks of visiting almost every dealer here in central Fl we are going with the Kia sedona, good value$, good warranty, nice features ,Excellent safety, and reliable.
thanks.

Don't bother. YOu'd be much better off spending a couple thousand $$ more on an Outlook. They're bigger, safer, newer, and a better value. VUEs fall apart. Outlook is also about the same in fuel economy (20-25).

People stop buying bic lighter cars. they are cheaper because they dont last and then are not worth repairing.
