ok so my kinda sorta bf came ovr tonight and game me this pretty boquite of flowers. and i had gotten some chocolates and made a card but after reading his card i realized that my card was way more alabrite so i didnt give him any of it. is this bad??
if it is we are going on a date for valentines this weekend so should i say or do something then??

Well, first I had to decode "alabrite" to figure out what was wrong with your card. Way more elaborate? Fancier card? Yes, you messed up by not giving him your planned gift. You can make up for it. He is, I guarantee you, not as judgmental about how fancy the card is as you're afraid he is. Call him tomorrow, explain that you got a little shy about giving him his gift, but it's his whenever he wants it, and you're looking forward to the weekend date. If you're going to be each other's Valentines you need to quit now with silly game playing and look each other in the eye honestly.

Maybe you are way better at expressing yourself than he is.
It sounds like it is a new relationship, so just give him some time and a chance. Give him your card too. See where things go, and enjoy the time you have with him.
Some people would be happy to have received what you did. He took time out of his day to get a card and flowers for you. Be thankful for those things, and tell him how you appreciate his efforts.

Why did u not give him the chocolates? Give him the card with a "belated" sign and maybe a note explaining your feelings. This is the first time I've seen "Competition" within a couple to please each other! Well, it is not competition and it's only YOU who have that inferiority complex. BE OPEN. BE SWEET. BE SEXY. Well, honey you are freaking out over nothing. Give him the card. Let him know how you feel. He gave you flowers and he's taking you out for dinner. Obviously he likes you...............give him the card at dinner......it's really not that big of a deal.

You're worrying way too much. He's obviously into you and probably wondering why you didn't get him a card. Girls are typically more elaborate that guys so don't sweat it. Be honest, you'll both probably laugh about it.

babe dont' worry about it.
you can either tell him thanks and be extra appreciative, and not give it to him
or be open. and tell him why you were afraid to give him the card and the chocolates.
maybe he's just not good at expressing his feelings. lots of guys are not.
