Its like this: my sister's body broke out in hives after she had her baby (days after having the baby). My grandma seemed to think it was her body reacting to the recent stress off having the baby and put her on a mess of vitamins. I went over to see my sister and she was showing me what was wrong. A couple days later I find hives on my stomach. I wake up the next morning and they are worse. A day later i find them on the inside of both of my arms. That night it looks like they are starting on the side of one of my lower legs.

They don't appear to be inflamed like my sisters and they don't really itch (my sister complained about itching a great deal).
So what is the deal??? Please help.

I did have a very brief case of eczema about 10 yrs ago but I have never had hives or anything like this before.

First take Claratin, or benadryl (claratin doesn't make you tired, and benedryl will kick your butt!!!) you probably need to see an allergist, I had hives for two years until a doctor finally figured out I was allergic to the cold, guess where I live???? Alaska ( how messed up is that)
The claratin takes the hives away, he tested it by putting a icecube on my arm, and up came a welt(hive), the dr told me 2 over the counter claratin is a prescription strength, ask your dr, and see if she/he agrees. good luck, hives really suck!!

I'd suggest Benadryl gel if they itched but since they don't, i'd strongly suggest going to the doc asap before it gets worse.

you need to go to the doctor and let him run some test and find out what is causing this. Then he will give you some medicine to stop the itching.

try an over the counter antihistamine(benadryll). If that doesnt clear it up you will have to see a doctor.
