You should go to see a gastroenterologist. They will do blood work to see if you have anything wrong with your liver and if he feels that you might have ulcers he would then do a upper scope. It is the easiest proceedure you can go through.

Well a liver is easy.Yellowish tint to the skin.Ulcers would make you sick when you eat.Avil and Ibuprofen do not help depression so dont take it for that.

Your doctor can run tests on you to see what is wrong and rule things out and find out what is really wrong with you. I would recommend that you talk to your doctor if you are still depressed that is not a fun thing to have to go through alone I am speaking from experience and this is just friendly advice.

Bad liver - simple blood test.

Ulcer - They'll probably want see how you react to certain treatments first. If you're having severe stomach pains, they may want to do an endoscopy (camera down the throat into the stomach.)

How much is a lot? Advil can be toxic to liver and kidneys if you have exceeded the recommended dosage.
