Hi

I get alot of headaches in the mornings (like 3-5 per week) as well as jaw pain. I am pretty sure alot of it has to do with the position of my body at night. It seems to be alot better when I sleep on my back. The problem is I either get a stiff back and/or have problems with sinuses.

I do already sleep with a pillow under my knees.

I am looking for suggestions to reduce this problem.

Sounds like you are grinding your teeth at night. You need to see a dentist to give you a tray (mouth guard) to help you stop the grinding. It is usually caused by stress.

Good luck

There is a book that teaches about muscles, pain and referred pain anywhere in the body. The principle is that the muscles get knots called trigger points which make the muscles tight that then press on nerves. It teaches how to get them to release which gets rid of the pain.
The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I also use a chiropractor and massage therapist as needed.

Honey, increase your water intake to about 6-8 glasses or more a day. Read the book: you're not sick, you're thirsty. You have a classic case of dehydration. Read the water cuire too. Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2 x day or before meals or when you first wake up. Has 93 vitamins and minerals.
