He kicked his food out of the feeder and sat in the feeder and kept digging in the corner. He's been with us for only 3 days and on the 3rd day he seemed like he didn't even recognize that humans were in his presence. He would fluff up and stay hunched up on the bottom of the cage. He kept his head down and wouldn't react even if a hand came in the cage and touched him and the first two days he always would react.

How old was this bird when you bought it?
Also when people buy a new bird they will stress out from being moved from one place to another. When a bird stress out their immune systems is affected and can cause them to get sick. It sounds like that is what is wrong with your bird. It need to have a source of heat to keep it warm so it doesn't go into shock. Now I know many will say take it to the vet, which is what I would recommend, but how much do you love your bird? because if you can find an Avian Vet the Vet bill and possible medication is going to cost more then what you paid for the bird.

But in some cases with birds by the time they are showing they are sick it may be too late to do anything. But my advise is to try to locate an Avian Vet for more assistance.
