So i stayed home with strep throat alone on valentines day... i haven't spent quality time with my girl for awhile cuz she's been sick (strep too) and even before that she got a lip piercing so we couldn't even kiss for like 4 weeks. She's been seeming distanced but I thought it was cuz she was sick and sleeping. But today I get the whole "why can't i say i love you to you? I think i still have feelings for my ex" text (who was an abusive asshole and just picked up and moved states away).. and says we need a break so she can sort her life out. But her ex still calls and texts her every day. She says she needs a break for maybe a few weeks but she won't see anyone else and when she's ready she'll only see me... But who does this to you on valantines day? Why does she keep contact with her ex who treated her like crap and abused her like he did? Why keep contact with him if its messing her head up and making our relationship so hard and probably over now?

Don't you have better things to do than deal with some chick who only wants what is out of reach. Dump her and you be the guy she cant have that she now starts wanting.
I've dated this kind of girl and the best place for them is in the rear view mirror.
