When people "contact with the dead" is this real, or is it a supernatural hoax?

Can anybody in here do it, or have done it with somebody else before?

What you are contacting is not departed souls but fallen angels (demonic powers). They deceive, lie, imitate those who have died, and manipulate - they are real but they are not "departed souls" of real people. Messing around with that is to invite satan to pull up a chair and have a chat. Evil enslavement of your mind and spirit and if you are not careful, your very soul.

for some it is just a trick but for others it is real, and they really do contact the dead, or the dead contacts them.

Sometimes the dead contact you, in different ways, and they let you know that they are there, as when my son died, he came to me in the light during the middle of a day. But i have had other things that have happen to me, when i have known either who the person was, or i had felt them leaning against me, and could smell their perfurm. I did not know anything about the places that these had happen, and so i asked and now i know who they were, but they were not trying to harm me or anyone around me in any way.

It's neither. It's all just showmanship. If you are talking about the John Edwards type nonsense, every person on that show is screened before they are accepted--the writers and hosts know at least a few things they want to hear. They choose the most common denominators, like, does anyone know someone named John, and toss out vague questions that can apply to half the audience.
Anything else is just delusions and wishful thinking.

OFTEN PEOPLE say they have talked with the dead, aprominentEpiscoplian bishop, said he talked with his dead son,Jim. According to the bishop, his son told him:"I have masses of people around me, and hands lifting me up, as it were....I was so unhappy untill I could make you know."
Since such experiences are so common, it is evident that many people have spoken with someone from thr spirit world.
But they have not talked to the dead. The Bible is very clear when it says:"As for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all."(Ecclesiastes9:5) So if it is not the dead who are speaking to people from the spirit world, then who are speaking? Who are pretending to be dead persons?
Wicked spirits are. These spirits or demons, are the angels who joined Satan in rebellion against God. Why do they pretend to be persons that have died? It is to advance the idea that the dead are still living. Wicked spirits have also led many to believe the lie that death is only a change to another life. To spread this lie, wicked spirits provide spirit mediums, fortune tellers and sorcerers with special knowledge that only seems to come from from persons who have died.

Don't do it. When you entertain the dead often you entertain demons and fallen angels,. They are very reluctant to leave and want your soul. No lie. Jesus says why ask the dead about the Living. Their death is the second death.
