I know it seems like she's done an awful thing and she's just mean.. and that could be true, BUT maybe it was Valentine's Day that made her realise she was unhappy in the relationship. Maybe she didn't want to lead it any further once she realised it was wrong for her. And really, would it have made you feel better if she had waited until today or next week to do it? I doubt it. Then you would have been thinking, but we just had a nice Valentines Day and it probably would have felt even worse for you.
So just think about that. Of course, if you see her soon with another guy, she was probably breaking up with you to run off and meet him for Valentines night.. but not necessarily. You dont always have to think the worst of someone even if it feels that way to you at the time.

While I think shes kind of cold to dump you on V'day, I just want to say this is a hard question to answer cause we dont know how your relationship was.. things youve done wrong .. things shes done wrong. Did you not get her a gift or call her all day? Did you buy her a gift from the guy on the side of the road again? Are you guys away from each other like in another state away at school? There are so many questions that need to be answered before we all beat up on this girl that dumped you on V-Day.....

It depends on what triggered the break up. It might have been her way at getting back or revenge on you, making you not only regret but to feel that regret with a knife because it was on valentine's day.
If she was a nice girl, it may have been.... no, no nice girl would have done it on valentines day, I'm sorry. Unless there's was some horrible conditions in her life that forced her to stop whatever she was doing socially, then there's no sensible reason to break up on valentines day.
Unless your ex-girlfriend really wanted to make the break-up hurt.
She's definately a revenge type of a girl. Those are the worst. I'm sorry you have to go through that. If I were you, I'd let it go knowing that I was saved from a continuing relationship from a very, bitter and avengeful girl. That can't be healthy in any relationship.

HA HA HA...yeah..it does suck..my ex wife left me on Feb 12Th a couple of years ago for a guy she meet on yahoo chat. I know how you feel. But This is a tip. When you get with someone. Keep in mind how you two got together. If she was with someone and dumped them for you...she's gonna do the same thing to you. How the relationship begins is how it's gonna end. When your talking to a chick...try to coax them into talking about there past and how they broke up with them...or was cheated on..or better yet...try to get them to tell you why they broke up and how. If you can do that. Then you'll know how your relationship is gonna end up. A lot of people tell me I'm crazy...and my idea's are stupid. But after it's all said and done. They tell me I was right...then they start listening to me.
