ya y not !!!!!!!!!
everyone need those principles .
let me give u an example :
a cotton cloth was used in ancient time also and today's generation also but the thing is way of designing it and way of making it would be changed but remember the base is same ' cotton '
in the same way we need those principles but the thing is to remind them once again ......... if we will do so na then see wat a drastic change will come in this world .

Walking on gandhiji's path only makes sense these days. U cannot tackle the problems faced today, even by powerful countries like the US. Let us say, the problem of terrorism, u cannot successfully fight terrorism, because it does not have a face. Maybe gandhism may be able to help solve most of the problems of today, even problems faced by super powers.

Gandhiji's path was based on truth and truth is universal so it makes sense to follow the path because in the end truth always prevails.

Gandi paid the ultimate price for his philosophy but imagine if all good people followed this and died . what would be the point of good if it doesn't survive ? I think the only pragmatic recourse that is desireable is to defend against evil rather than laying down to it . As Albert Einstein said;
"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing. "
