Why do i think this way? i know i dont want to do it.I feel people dont care.Then when thay want to help i think ther feeling sorry for me.I'm on medz and going to couselling.i'm getting sick of this. one day that i havent cut i want to cut so bad.I hate who i am and i know i will never love myself.Yeh you think i'll get to date someone when i teel them about me?thay will run thay wont care...i've leard that no one cares i dont blam them..Is it realy worth it??I ask myself that every day......

well for the person who just asked how many times im going to ask about suicide..ive tryed to kill myself 2 times alredy .i just dont want to go back to that sorry....

I don't know you, but I care.. My brother died by suicide just over a year ago.. It's very hard to try and explain to a person that is feeling depression.. how much you really love them.. They don't believe you, and they don't think anyone cares.. I miss my brother every day, and my life is in pieces.. Still.
He shot himself, died... and I have to deal with this horrible feeling of loss for the rest of my life.. it's not fair.
I will always love him.. But just think of all the people that will suffer your loss...

You probably just have a boring life, nothing to do to make you happy, or no one to make you happy more likely. To be happy you probably just have to wait it out until things change, which is quite likely if you give it enough time.

My best advice to help this happen is if you ever date someone, or make a new friend of any sort, be REALLY careful not to come across as being needy and not to barrage them with your problems. If you can meet interesting people and pretend you're a normal happy person, they will treat you like you are and not treat you like you have problems, not have to feel sorry for you, get sick of you, etc. People WILL run if you go on about cutting/suicide to them all the time, because no one wants to be around someone who sucks energy like that, it gets tiring. If they think they do at first, they'll probably get sick of it in any case.

Probably no one cares because the suicide thing has become all that you ever show people, judging by the fact that you've posted all this stuff about it on this forum here... They have to be able to see the real person you are behind all that, and be able to see the awesome person you could be if you were happy, because that is what they would care about.

Also, you NEED to stop cutting if you're cutting anywhere you can't hide easily. Scars on arms for example end up making it difficult to lead a normal life because everyone can see them even if you don't want to share that much with them. If you're going to cut do it somewhere easy to hide, like the upper thighs or stomach (those places scar easier but the scars won't matter as much). Also, the outer arm scars alot less than the wrists/inner arm where most people cut.

Oh, and if your meds aren't working, change them! Incidentally if you're on Effexor, pretty much everyone says it sucks. What antidepressants are supposed to do is, if you can rate feelings on a scale of 0-10 (where 0 is the lowest depths of depression), they pretty much remove 0 and 1. So you can feel sad and you can feel happy, you just can't feel the most intense feelings of hopelessness, the kind that make you want to kill yourself... If your medication is not doing this you should really switch to a completely different one. A good antidepressant can really help you hang in there long enough to give your actual life a chance to get better.

Its interesting that you feel you have no spirit and no life inside of you. No one cares right? Again its interesting that no one cares because YOU yourself dont care. You are too hard on yourself. Life is set up in a way that when others see you helping yourself they come running. But in your case you are repelling. You should find some place in yourself to release your negative disposition. Talk to someone to release this. Someone you trust. But before you go engaging in yourself with other people, take a long look at yourself and gather your thoughts. Find a confidante-and talk to them. You need to release this before you go do something destructive.

I wont tell you to get off the MEDS, but it seems that you KNOW you have a problem, so you arent too out of touch, but you need to put a foot forward if you want some help. Not everyone is against you..

I've been there, as well as millions of others out there. Life IS worth living! (most of the time) You really have to get out and start living your life, get out and start doing things you enjoy- start dancing, biking, playing basketball, doing whatever you like to do. No drugs can beat the feeling you get when you're exercising. It's not only healthy, it also gives your mood a boost! so put on some music and bust a move or get out the ipod and start jogging. Life can be amazing, but only if you let it. Distract your mind and think positively. Put on a smile, even if you're not happy. This can trick your mind into thinking you're in a good mood and can put you in a better mood. Trust me, I've been through years of depression, and I know how to prevent it from coming back to me.

Once I've been on the suicidal tendencies, but now I think I'm so stupid. I guess that's the part of my life that make me wiser about life.

The only things you need to do is to increase your relationship with God. Trust me, when you have connection with God, then you'll find a way out of this. You can choose Christian way, Buddha way, Hindu way if you fill fit in you.

Just don't choose the radical way. They will change desperate peoples like you into suicidal bomber and that's such a waste.

I thought you were working through this? I haven't cut all day, if I can do it you can do it :D What's the point of quiting self harm to kill yourself ? I know people care for you ! There's always at least one person hunni ! You'll be fine once your away from SH for a while :D Good Luck and don't do anything daft x

Try getting drunk,,always made me feel better and is less painfull then cutting youself,,I wish I knew you cuz I'd kick you in the butt,,feeling sorry for yourself is what your doing and ppl care you just don't let them care cuz your selfish, and push them away,,therfore only thinking about youself again,,get a grip girl life is short and it;s only waht you make it,,sounds like you don;t even try,,bet you don't work and lay around waiting for others to make you feel better then blame them when nothing happens..Suicide only hurts the ones that love you,,and if you own a computer then your not homeless, or living on the street,,now thats a tuff life,,bet yours is not like that..it's a cop out and your just selfish,,think of others for a change and not yourself might change the way you feel..

suicide is the easy way out. life is hard, life is tough. it beats you with a billion punches. your goal is to go through all of that. im sure there is a reward. you might meet new people, befriend them. im sure someone will like you for who you are. dont hate who you are. just think, there are definitely people who have it worse. they have no job, no money, their husband/wife left them, their son died in 9-11 and iraq, they wonder the streets looking for food in dumpsters. dont think you have it worse. even the people i describe still live through every day of their precious lives with hope. dont commit suicide. and dont do drugs or alcohol or tobacco, those are just the same as suicide

relax, just don't think or care about that kind of stuff

just try to impmrove upon yourself and sho cares what others think
i suppose there's alot of peer pressure but you can do it

take showers

and hope

think positive

schools hard, but you can do it, you've accomplished so much, i bet

just relax, calm down, and do your best

set goals and strive towards them.

you're beautiful and God loves you

love God and keep hope

one last piece of advice
PLEASE for you, say this as many times as you can during the day, when ever your waiting for something or are riding in the car, when you have even five seconds of time, while your walking

PLEASE just try, try saying this: "Ya aleeyu"
just try, it should work

This is going to be a long and hard process. When you go to counseling, do you really open up and talk about what is bothering you, or do you keep it bottled in?

Whatever you do, you really do need to open up to the counselor. Remeber, by law they are not allowed to tell your parents anything you say to them. If you don't let it out, you will never get the help you need.
