Most Christian denominations think that animals do not have souls like humans do and do not sin. They are rather quiet about whether they might go to heaven.
However the Bible speaks of all creation, even rocks, praising God. For example in Revelation chapter 5 verse 13:
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, everything in the universe, cry out: "To the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor, glory and might, forever and ever."
This sounds like every creature is praising Jesus.
With love in Christ.

Although the catholic bible does not say a single word about soul, animals nor reincarnation, many other religions speak of souls being reincarnated in other living species- no heaven nor hell though.
21 Grams (a movie you may be too young to watch) actually stipulates that 21 grams "dissappear" when a human dies- it would be interesting to see if it occurs with animals as well- it might be a soul transporting into another being.
For all those people that said animals do not have soul, they may have two reasons:
a) they never had a loving pet, or
b) they sell, trade, have stocks in, or kill animals for a living.
Either way they will probably be reincarnated into a lower species- like a mouse or ant so they can learn a lesson or two.
Furthermore, speaking of heaven and hell as a destination; if you have three sins you go to hell, if you have 80 sins but confessed go to heaven is where Monopoly was based on. Heaven and hell are abstract terms designed to creatye fear and respect in the masses so the leaders can manipulate their actions.
Keep reading and thinking laterally- one day, with all the information you have researched you can make your own mind up!

Josh: The word "soul" is a misinterpretation from the original Hebrew text. It is more properly rendered "breath", [ from the Hebrew word rendered: "nephesh"]. The word "soul" is commonly misapplied to mean some kind of entity, which is immortal. The word "soul" is better served and oftentimes, employed within the pages of the Bible as a term for a human being or a person. In certain passages, the Bible speaks of the "soul" dieing; like : "the soul which sins, it shall die" - if it were immortal, it couldn't "die" - could it ? The answer to your question, is "YES" both, humans and animals do have a "breath" [soul] .

The Bible doesn't say that animals have souls, and they do not, or at least not immortal souls. Neither did humans until God specifically breathed into the first humans spiritual life. That is when humans became made in God's image and likeness, received moral capacity and an immortal soul. Animals are part of the natural environment, nothing more. When they die, they cease to exist. Period.
So, we don't have to worry about the good sharks, crocodiles and cockroaches being in heaven, and the evil ones going to hell.

I don't remember the bible saying animals have souls. The term "animal" comes from Latin "anima" or soul. The animals do have souls but mortal ones. Once they die they are just worm food. Humans have an immortal soul, hence they either go to heaven or hell. No animals in heaven nor hell.

The original language terms(Heb.,nephesh;Gr.,psykhe) as used in the Scriptures show "soul"to be a person,an animal or the life that a person or animal enjoys.
The meanings popularly attached to the English word "soul" stem primarily, not from the Hebrew or Christian Greek Scriptures, but from ancient Greek philosophy, actually pagan religious thought. The concept that humans possess an immortal soul that leaves the body is not a Bible teaching.
The Bible teaches at Eze.18:4 that "the soul that is sinning,it itself will die".
So we ARE a soul, not we HAVE a soul.

I do not thing it is the 'soul', but 'free will' that determines whether u can choose sin and go to hell. Maybe animals have soul, but do they have a free will, to choose. I am unable to find anything in the bible, even remotely, whether animals have freewill like humans.

Humans are born with freewill, the ability to make right or wrong choices. Animals are programmed to be instinctive. Human beings who die are given the hope of a resurrection by means of Christ's sacrifice, unlike the animals.
The bible does indeed say animals are living souls and they can die just like humans.

Did you be conscious that no 2 solutions right here were a similar? Our entire society is so screwed up about those concerns, it is pitiful. right here is what i recognize: in case you outline the soul because the spark of existence, the essence of who we are, the resource of understanding, then animals have souls. AND an "animal soul" isn't any diverse from a "human soul". AND it truly is a danger for a soul to reincarnate as a diverse species. The soul has no intrinsic species or gender--those are actual features. right here is what i trust about heaven and hell: they're at the same time unique ideas. They both can not exist concurrently. imagine about it: how ought to everybody journey "eternal bliss" in heaven understanding that any one become being perpetually tortured in hell? that they'd must be ill bastards or lobotomized, and neither situation matches the definition of "heaven". in my opinion, i imagine "heaven" and "hell" are purely metaphors for multiple psychological and non secular states.
