First of all, I am not trying to manipulate her. I am completely in love with this woman, and she and I would be a perfect match, but the problem is, from the information I have, she is not interested in something serious with anyone right now. She is a great girl, and I treat her with respect, but I want more than friendship and casual dates with her. I am 26 years old and she is 19 years old. Is there any advice anyone can give me on this situation?

You need to make her an offer she can't refuse. Are you sure you're just not too old for her. At nineteen she may still be out looking around and not ready to settle down. Some girls are smart enough to finally realize that their friends make great mates because you know them so well. And other realize that you can be friends but the friendship may not be what you are looking for on a more serious level. I guess you will have to keep on being her friend but let her know in sutle ways that you have deeper interests in her. She will let you know whether she wants it or not.

Well I'll have a crack at it. I think that you need to just leave her be with her choice for another year or two, continue the dates etc etc and then when she grows up a little bit more- wham! - she'll be ready. i mean, seven years ago when you were 19 you may have not been in the mood to settle down either. She just want to muck around for a few more years, maybe you should try the same, and then if you're meant to be together, you will be, just like that! Hope it helps

1. she is young and may not know what she really wants, 2. the best thing you can do, is be her friend, take her out to dinner...as friends...hang out...as friends. You need her realize that she likes you on her own terms not playing some game. You need to realize that she may never come around, but you are still her friend and therefore in her life. When there is NO pressure...it's amazing what can happen. Good luck!
