Normal or not she did it...I have to assume she knew you liked this guy? That isn't what a friend should really do in my opinion but, in other ways i guess maybe shes thinking all if fair in love and war?

Well, since she's your friend I would assume that she knew you had a huge crush on this guy and if thats the case then no its not usually normal for your best friend to say yes like that. If she liked this guy like you did she could have at least told you that she liked him and that he asked her out and that she wants to say yes. But she should have spoken to you about it. I hope you and your friend sort things out.

Sometimes girls don't take into consideration what they might be doing to their friend by dating someone they like. Often when a girl likes a guy that is all that is on her mind. Perhaps you could question your friend as to wether or not she knew that you liked that boy and tell her what you're feeling about the whole situation. Just keep in mind that there are many boys out there and it's not worth ruining a friendship over.

Sounds like he liked her too. Depending on what sorts of signals he was getting, he might have thought that he had a better chance of getting a favorable response from your friend. It's also possible that he likes you as a friend, but not in the way you would like.

Try not to dwell on this, there are other fish in the sea.

The girl you described is NOT your friend. Stay far away from her. Secondly, this guy doesn't like you. He just hurt you Think about how that would play out in the long run. You need to find some new people.

Maybe he likes you as a friend, or, what some guys will do, is to test if a girl really really likes them, is to ask out their good friend or someone that the girl knows, and if it makes the girl mad, she wants to be with the guy, this is a trick guys do to find out for certain.......they have to resort to these shady games and tricks because they are afraid to just walk up to a girl and ask her out.....and if he did, the girl would go out with him, not only because she likes him, but because he had the you know whats to ask her out.....women like confidence and courage

She doesn't sound like much of a friend...and he probably doesn't like you as much as he (& you) think. Unless you are into playing games...I'd find the closest exit. There are lots of fish in the sea!

my dad asked my mom's best friend out to gather information on my mom, and to make my mom notice him.........she didn't realize he had asked her out first, and he thought she had said no.

your best friend ..........talk to her, tell her how much you like this guy, if he only talks about you, it's just a way of finding out about you what you like and such.

my mom and dad were married over 50 yrs. he's still alive.

Dump your friend and ***** slap the guy! Or put him in a dog collar and make him crawl around on all fours while you hold his leash, thats what my girlfriend does to me.

Well, guys come and go, but girls have to stay friends forever. Unless she really is pure evil.
