Harroine is the worst because it causes you to lose brain cells like nothing after 1 year of shooting that stuff up your arm you will be potato. Pot is the least fatal but after a while of using it you will become, once again, a potato

i'm no longer particular what's the worst for you, yet i might want to anticipate crack, opium, heroine, or meth for my area. As for least deadly that's type of a frustrating question to respond to because LSD, mushrooms, and pot (probably more desirable, yet i don't experience like questioning about it too frustrating at the moment) have not in any respect intoxicated someone to the point of lack of lifestyles and for all intents and applications won't be able to, theoretically conversing. Marijuana is the most secure of all drugs (at the same time with alcohol), i'm now unlikely into the medical clarification why at the moment, yet actually you won't be able to overdose on it and the in elementary words issues it has are extremely non everlasting. Mushrooms are also non-poisonous (you won't be able to OD on them) yet reason hallucinations so are doubtlessly worse than marijuana. LSD is largely a non-poisonous more desirable severe hallucinogen than mushrooms, yet may reason hallucinations severe adequate that individuals have clawed their eyes out even as on the substance (although very few, very few remoted situations that I probably wouldn't have said). also some human beings (inspite of if also very uncommon) get contaminated or undesirable LSD and performance lengthy gone completely insane or into an enduring vegetative state, so i might want to cost it as more desirable deadly than mushroom because of those remoted incidents. There are a lot of medicine i did not aspect out and technically conversing i might want to assert caffeine is the least deadly drug, then marijuana, then nicotine, yet that's getting somewhat picky and also you look to advise unlawful drugs.

They do different things.

Amphetamines (generic name for this class of drugs is "speed," the most damaging being methamphetamine = "meth") aren't great for the cardiovascular system (can cause necrotizing arteritis) and can lead to stroke and heart attack. Can also cause psychotic episodes and central nervous system damage.

Cocaine is particularly toxic to the myocardium (muscle in the walls of the heart responsible for heart function). Chronic use and tends to have negative consequences on the heart, leading to a much higher-than-baseline risk of heart attack. Acutely, it is a strong stimulant, and can lead to dangerous hypertension (high blood pressure) and central nervous system over-excitation, which can lead to seizure (which, then can lead to death via arrhythmia, respiratory arrest, etc). Crack is smoked cocaine and tends to hit the person faster than the snorted variety.

Heroin is not particularly damaging to tissues in the body, but it does cause dose-dependent decrease in respiratory function. In an overdose, the person is out of it and their respiratory center can be depressed to the point of respiratory failure, which leads to death.

Marijuana and the damage it can do to the body are on a completely different level than the above, for two reasons: 1) the health risks, while present, are far less severe and acute as for the above drugs, and 2) the above drugs can all lead to strong physiological dependency, while marijuana does not (however, psychological dependence is not uncommon, and weak physiological dependence might be possible).

In any case, marijuana's health risks are mainly related to long-term risks associated with inhaling smoke. There has never been a case of marijuana overdose in the literature.

In short, your roommate doesn't know what he's talking about. Smoking pot isn't necessarily good for you, but chronic cocaine use is potentially very toxic to the heart.
