You have to wash your face a lot with a good soap, oil builds up fast and clogs the pores. Aveeno has a good gentle foaming cleanser that does not burn. A pore toner to use after washing closes the pores and rinsing with cool water closes the pores. If a pimple starts or you have picked one, use neosporin, but not much you can have a reaction to it. A clay masque will clean the pores also. Then a gentle moisturizer. You have to watch these products and have to try a lot to find one that works for your skin. Wash, wash, wash and not roughly. I know aloe vera works well on burns, so it might work well to soothe the skin if you washed too roughly, etc. Sometimes acne can be a reaction to something such as shampoo or conditioners. I have never tried an aloe vera leaf, that might be too much, try it on your arm first or one place on your face, but not your whole face.

I worked as a cook in a deli. The owner kept a couple Aloevera plants in the front window. When anybody would burn themselves we would break off a piece and Squezze the aloe on the burned area. It worked well I would assume that if it helps acne in the bottle the real thing would do the same.

Truy removing your blackheads when they're ready to come out, and use glycerine soap and an anti-acne cream to rid those pimples. Aloe Vera is good for your skin, but is not known to remove acne or blackheads. It's great for abrasions and burns though, helps heal them over quickly and soothes burns quickly. The best stuff is the real plant. But if you can't find a live plant, go for the hand creams with the most amount of it in there, or go for pure aloe extract gels. They're even better.
