I seriously don't know where some of you goons get your facts from.
The Quran was written during the time of Prophet Muhammad. His companions wrote them down and he verified the contents when they read them. But it was only collated during the time of the 2nd Caliph. And his companions did memorise the Quran. So it is totally fabricated to say the Quran was passed down from generations to generations thru memory alone.
Now the Bible was written approximately 500 years after Jesus. That's why the oldest Bible in the world is in Greek and not a dialect of Hebrew (the language spoken by Jesus). So the Greek form is the translated version. That's why the Bible scholars in the Church of London say that the errors (reportedly 50,000) in the Bible are due to the inaccurate translation.
Please get your facts right! Else it's a shame you don't even know your own religion!

Because people try to change the bible. There are bad bibles out there. Why would Satan try to counterfeit a book written by him (the quran). You don't counterfeit penny's because they have little worth you counterfeit $100 bills. The bible is universally believed to be the best preserved book in history. It has forty errors after thousands of years of replication. They errors are insignificant as ruled by independent historians. They effect no major message of the bible and do not confuse the meaning or accuracy. The bible has 66 books written by over 40 writers I believe. There is not one contradiction found to date by anyone. The bible is the most challenged book in history, and always proves itself right. Stop looking at Muslim websites and look at independent historians if you want to see the Truth. If I was looking for the truth like you seem to be, I wouldn't look at Christian websites either. Look at a non biased website of historians and see what they say. The Bible is Gods word. If you agree, then the Quran is false. Ishmael was not the sacrifice. Muhammad's writings were lost, that is why the bible was hijacked by his writers. They did not remember what he said, and made it up as they went on.

The Qur'an isn't the purest e book -- it is the purest bunk. It includes blunders, so any declare that that's god-given would desire to fail. As for the bible, there are a minimum of two diverse variations, with diverse numbers of books; the single used via the Catholic Church has something like 4 extra books. The bible has even much less declare to credibility than does the Qur'an -- it includes thousands of blunders. the finished style of verses in the two version is of no pastime.

This is a lie. There is one Quran in the world, and no sigle word in it has been changed for 14 centuries, since the appearnace of Islam. Thank you Awan for your note to those who are so uneducated an so impolite that they insult others... You may find a version of sth else but not Quran called al-forqan-al-haq, which was created and misleadingly circulated in some countries but banished. If ever anything changes in the Muslim world, all Muslims and all their sects believe in the Quran. If you want to you can read an English version. To know more about this, go to www.islamicity.com
Thanks

Your question does not make sense. Number of verses have nothing to do with the holiness of a book, otherwise the Iliad or Odyssey will be the holiest.
For god sake, what are you trying to say?

Punter, there are very few Muslims insulting other religions on this particular site and I was relieved at that. Majority of the hate messages are NOT from Muslims.
Can you please stop setting this precedent for others to join you? Try to be tolerant and do not dismiss other religions publicly. If you think them misled, please share it with fellow Muslims privately.
Who gave you the right to insult the other Scriptures and their followers? I, as an experienced reader of all scriptures can assure you if you claim to be religious, you have no right to spread intolerance.
Please ask intelligent questions and do not shove your beliefs down other people's throats.
Cheers.
A Muslim.
