Yes. Though he hasn't been indwelt by Satan yet, he's alive and well somewhere in the world today. After the Rapture, this man will rise up from among the sea of nations to be viewed as a savior of sorts, being able to help the world's problems of virtually all fronts from religion to economic, which is where the mark of the Beast comes into play.

Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Verse 17 says that the mark of the beast is NOT 666. However, there are three indicators: "the mark", "name of the beast", and "the number of his name".
As far as the beast is concerned, there is LOTS of evidence that "he" exists today.

666 is the number of the beast...the number of a man. there has been much speculation but no one knows for sure how the 666 will manifest itself to point an arrow at the beast. I fear when the world finally know...they will be blinded to the truth and believe "the lie" as prophecied in the book of Revelation. scary to think about.

Yeah, the beast barks at the neighbor kids on their way to school and sleeps at the foot of the bed at night. Oops, wrong beast. Is the number 666 not the sign of God? I mean God was kind of a beast all throughout the Bible.

According to the bible the number is 616 and not 666.
666 was a misprint.
The beast is very much alive. It is a international corporate body that makes decisions that affect peoples lives but seems oblivious to the people. Its top member nations can veto any decision and make decisions that are deadly in terms of their consequences for other members and non members.....what is it?

That's funny, your answerer's, you have no clue to what the Beast is. People read the Bible over and over and still don't get it. The beast is a spiritual entity that ascends out of the Abyss (were fallen angels go). The beast is part of the unholy Trinity. Spiritual Entity's. The beast cant be killed, He can only be locked up by angels. Get it.

The beast and the angel are within all of us.
If one opts for the easy road then you are a follower of the beast.
For example" steal from your place of work,
Abuse and hurt your loved ones,
Believe in your lies so steadfast that they become
truth.
No one in this realm of existence is perfect. Be careful and dilligent as to what you follow. What seems good maybe at the heart of evil. Pray to what higher power you believe and overcome the worst in yourself.
