i know you are not suppose to be in the chlorine till your new tat heals but i only have a week till i have to get back in the pool for work. My new tat will be submerged in the chlorine from 1-3 hours a night. 30 min in 15 minutes out. how do i protect it while i am in the chlorine?

Try your chemist or pharmacist for some waterproof bandages, the hospital type ones. There are ones on the market that are like a large square of gauze with tape all around the edge. They are waterproof and should survive a few hours in the water. You might want to change it straight away afterwards though. How effective this will be depends on how big your tattoo is. Liquid Band Aid.

At local Wal Mart, at band aid section. You may need someone to help you apply it but after it dries you can have your tat exposed for viewing but dry as can be.

try some sort of waterproof covering.

i dont know where your tat is so it is hard to give you a good idea.

if you can get maybe a liquid bandage that you can use on your tat to keep water off of it or someting like that.

hope you dont get infected.

water proof sunblock reapplied at each break...... as long as you don't scratch the scabs it should be fine.
