- Because I get the feeling that before the Internet, you all thought 99% of the world thought just like you. But in reality, you had bullied anyone with a competing viewpoint into submission (at least publicly). Now, to discover the VAST number of atheists, agnostics, freethinkers that lurk here must be very disconcerting to your worldview. Am I wrong?

You are not wrong. But you aren't right either. I didn't think 99% of the world thought like me. And I have never bullied anyone. You are right in the fact that I have discovered that there are so many atheists on the Internet. What has really been the eye opener is the fact that it is the Christians that are persecuted beyond belief. Maybe I'm missing something because I don't read all of the questions and answers, but it seems to me that the Christians are the ones being bashed and mocked and ridiculed more than any other religion. It's really sad but at the same time, almost expected and anticipated, because I think it is a sign of the end times.

IS THAT A REAL QUESTION? (LOL) ARE YOU SERIOUS...

I get the feeling that this individual is an “atheists”…… .HMMMMM, I guess I should get serious and rethink this Christianity stuff...yeah right... you are intimidated by Christians….is this the real reason behind the question? Or is it that you are honestly reaching out for help from those who have a personal relationship with God? If so, that’s ok. That’s what Christians do. Because that’s what it is really all about you know. Having a personal relationship with God…Not religion. Your question is absurd.

LOL christians get bullied by unbelievers all the time. turn the other cheek compels us to at least attempt to be at peace with everyone. Self defense is ok, but I have been in christian chat rooms and forums and discussion boards and I see christians being bullied all the time in a hugely dispurportionate amount compared to any bullying by christians of unbelievers. You go to forums like this and in chat rooms and ask rude mocking comments which you get a negative response out of and say your being bullied or get a persecution complex. PAHLEEZ! Christianity is a huge group of billions of followers. I don't care if I'm the LAST christian on the face of the earth. I will still place my faith in the Lord to my dying breath and have joy that He is my Savior and pray that more know of His love.

Nope, wasn't disappointed at all, in fact I expected it.

The Bible tells us that real Christians are the minority in the world, and Yahoo! Opinions certainly proves it to me. Way to go, God!

Christians are the real "radicals" in the world, get the facts my lost brother.

I am glad to see alot of atheists are here, but the better question is why are you here. I never thought 99% of people think like me, and I don't remember pushing people to think like me either. I am glad you feel the need to be around christians and hope you enjoy your stay with us. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really. I was an Atheist for over 20 years and spent a great deal of time in IRC Dal Net Chat rooms entertaining myself by taking cheap shots at Christians in #christian and #bible. Quite frankly I am glad you are all here. It is awesome to look back at how I was and then at how I am now. Wow... Jesus really was the answer.

I'm not only disappointed, but surprised. And I fear for our "One Nation Under God". Judgment is imminent.
