I am trying to play a DVD using Windows Media (I think it's Windows Media 11). As the DVD is running, I attempted to change the Play Speed. I was able to slow the speed of the visuals, but there is no sound unless I play the DVD at normal speed. I'm trying to take notes and I need BOTH the visual and audio to go slower...HELP!!

Is there a software that will allow me to do that?

Thats because the sound is disabled at a lower speed! Most all DVD and VHS players operate like this! You couldnt understand it anyway!

goodluck. windows media was set to run the sound and audio equally at normal speed. slowing down the speed will have to convert both audio and visual, which took up a lot of memory. so windows media said screw it, and cut out sound as the video slows down. also, their decision to screw it was also based on the sound deformation as the video is played. don't ask why, people are dumb sometimes. sry

Its not gonna happen honey, its just the way its layered.
You'd need to isolate the audio an play it through something like garage band or similar to slow it down. Sorry I can't help more than that.
