Well it would make sense to me that if the light was not absorbed, it would have been reflected. Chloryphyll A and B, the two main pigments of leaves reflect green light, but absorb other colors of light. That is why plants generally appear green.

Sunlight isn't really 'trapped' by photosynthesis but I see what you are trying to say.
It can be absorbed by the matter of the leaf and make it warmer. Or if it is in the green spectrum it will most likely bounce off.

The color of the leaf actually demonstrates what color is reflected and what is absorbed.
Leaves tend to be green because they absorb all the rest of the visible specimen - green is the shade that the leaves reflect.
Works with everything actually - white reflects all visible colors, black absorbs them all.

Some is absorbed in the form of heat.
Some is reflected so we can see the leaf.

a million. the capability from the photograph voltaic is used to interrupt H2O (water) molecule into H+ ions and O2 gas and electrons. Then the electron is charged from the comparable photograph voltaic capability and dropped on the electron transport chain. 2. whilst electron strikes down an electron transport chain, little bit of capability is lost and used to pump H+ ions interior the thylakoid lumen. further and extra capability is lost and used to pump H+ ions via fact the electron strikes down the electron transport chain. 3. O2 (oxygen gas) and H+ ions and Electrons are produced via splitting water. the technique is observed as water photograph lysis. 4. the importance of oxygen produced throughout the time of mild-based reaction is this gas is given off and animals use it for cellular respiratory. 5. NADPH and ATP are used in mild self reliant reaction. 6. Carbon fixation happens throughout the time of Calvin Cycle interior the stroma. it is the 1st area of the Calvin Cycle. 7. The source of capability convering PGA to PGAL is ATP. 8. very final made of sunshine-based reactions are NADPH, ATP, O2. very final products of sunshine-self reliant reactions are Carbohydrates (C3H6O3). Cabohydartes are the factors formed from mild-self reliant reactions.

most likely be reflected and heat would be absorbed. also it would dry out the plant and moisture or evaporation would occur. causing the plant to wilt in certain areas.
