It makes no difference....all the rings do are symbolize your Love for each other, which is never-ending....like a circle.
And besides, who cares what 'others' think? YOU know you are married to each other and that's all that counts!

No, they don't have to match. But doesn't your man know the problems about getting white gold? Yellow gold is much more durable, and doesn't require any special looking after, except an occasional cleaning. Most guys prefer yellow gold, because it is classic.

Both of you should get exactly what you want. Back in the day rings matched because the groom or his family picked them out without help from the bride or couple getting married.
Trust me, nobody will even notice or care and if they do, never speak to that person again-LOL
Congrats!

My dear, the rings are for both you to treasure and behold, who cares what other people think? They're there to symbolise your union with each other, not tell others "I'm married to so and so". In fact, some people wear it on necklaces instead of their fingers. What's more important is knowing that you're married to the love of your life. Period.
Congratulations, by the way!

I don't think it matters in the least. In fact, he's more likely to actually wear the ring proudly if he likes it. Isn't that the most important? That he wears a ring (regardless of color) signifying your commitment?
After nearly 20 years of marriage (and very happily), you'd be surprised how little these details matter in the years to come.
Good luck and congratulations!

you don't have to have matching rings. :) My ring is gold and my husbands is platinum. Would you thinking someone was having an affair if you noticed their rings were different colors?? I wouldn't even notice the rings were different to tell you the truth.

as far as style..no it doesnt matter but as far as color? i feel like you feel. I wouldnt do it because it does look like you are married to other ppl. Granted the whole point is the "symbol of love" but i personally wouldnt feel comfortable wearing a different color ring. Nowadays you do what u want and its more about being comfortable than traditional but i dont like the idea of having different color rings/bands.

Congrats! i do no longer think of it concerns. Having diverse jewelry is greater exciting, matching ones are uninteresting. Like people who gown their twins interior the comparable clothing. it is greater valuable to be inividual! =]
