With that history, I'd say congestive heart failure. And yes, it is serious. He needs to get to a doctor sooner rather than later.

He was tired due to lack of oxygen, likely.

And yes, shortness of breath is likely related to his heart disease condition. He needs to exercise (start VERY moderate, and mildly) Take his 5 meters, and add a step, then another and add a step.

Plus he needs to eat well, any nutritional supplements and foods that he can find that will support cardio vascular health, and avoid smoking, sodas, white foods (no flour, potatoes, high carbs/starchy stuff). Fresh raw veggies would be great, salads, make them taste good through some simple homemade dressings and dips. Juicing would be great!

Heart is a muscle, it needs protein as well.

This could go along with heart disease. My mother who in which is only 47 has had a quad bypass as well as 3 heart attacks. stints placed didn't help she now requires supplemental oxygen. the extra weight on him isn't helping among other things. he may need to exercise in moderation. though if this is a new symptom yes him being a heart patient it could be something more serious. i advise you to have him call his doc first thing tomorrow. good luck.

it can be a symptom of an drawing near coronary heart attack, or he could be stricken by congestive coronary heart failure (water on the middle) the 2nd might properly be taken care of with diueretics, that are incredibly affordable. He additionally might have harm to his coronary heart from his final coronary heart attack. he's an previous guy in unfavorable well being with few years left. I advise you get him to work out a coronary heart expert as quickly as conceivable if he needs to stay out his final years extra delicate.
