Yesterday I slipped on the kitchen floor and I fell on my tailbone but felt ok afterward. Last night I started feeling sick to my stomach and I woke up this morning with cramps and bleeding (similar to my period). I just ended my period last week and I am always regular. Later this evening my fiancé noticed something that looks like a bruise, but does not hurt like one, on the lower back of my leg. I got concerned and called the doctor tonight and they want me to come in tomorrow morning. I’m worried there may be something internal going on. Does anyone know what’s going on?

I'm 29 by the way. I'm worried about some type of internal issue or bleeding going on.

it depends on your age. if you said you were menopausal (but i dont think you are because you said you got your period) i would say it could be osteoporosis. I dont think you should be too worried, but i' glad you are going to the doctor to get it checked out, you never know. good luck!

How far did she fall onto the hard floor? Any fall onto hard flooring from a height of over a foot can possily be dangerous to the life of a hamster. She's very lucky she didn't break her back. If her condition does not improve by the next day I would get her to a vet immediately. Sooner if she starts acting worse. If she's dragging her hind legs or shaky and jerky then she's possibly suffered spinal damage or head trauma and needs to be seen ASAP. Your vet may be able to tell you why your hamster is acting strangely and what can be done to help her. Hoping for the best!

Whatever the problem is, more than likely it will be correctable and it's not something that will cause a permanent disability. The fact that you got up afterwards and were able to walk is a good sign that you didn't rupture a disk or sustain other injuries to your spine. The bleeding is of some concern. It's hard to guess at what's going on without the proper tests. You may have a perforation or laceration of your uterus but more likely than not, it will be reparable. I wouldn't worry too much about it, try to relax and wait for the test results. Good luck.

Wow, I'm surprised you hit your tailbone, then felt okay. Usually when people hurt their tailbones they can still feel the pain two or three years later. If your tailbone doesn't hurt and isn't numb, I'm sure you're fine.
