so there was this guy and we were into each other (our first convo was 3 hrs. long and extremely flirtatious)...but then we kinda grew apart and then we started emailing a little & i wrote him an email hinting that we should go out and he never wrote back (this all occurred b4 xmas)....so today he txts me and wishes me a happy vday...we havent talked in a few months....i wished him one 2 and asked how he was...then he aked how i was and all i answered with was pretty good....should i still txt him what does this mean!?

either he remembered YOU today and should be flattered, or, it's midnite and you're last on a long list

Ask him "Are you flirting with me?" or, if you think there's some chance that will annoy him, "Are you flirting with me? I hope you are!"
One of those should be unthreatening and forward enough to get a useful answer, without sticking your neck too far out.
