I just got a new boyfriend yesterday , he's really nice and funny but... i dont know what my friends and other people in my school will react with us going out. I'm a really shy person and i dont like too much attention on me , I'm really nervous on going to school tomarro...WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!

You should ask yourself if you really want a boyfriend. Than ask yourself if you really like him. If you really have feelings for him, or would like something to develop - then everyone else's opinions do NOT matter. Be less concerned with what other people think and focus on what make YOU happy. If he makes you happy, then jam out!! You will find a way to deal with any wayward stares or comments - cuz you'll be happy and their ignorance will not matter. However, if you are more concerned about popularity and not so much developing a real relationship with this young lad, than allow the social conscience that is school decide all of your social situations for you and become another drone lacking in personal fortitude and conviction.
Be yourself and have fun. Other people do not matter.

When people mention it - and they will - say very little - diminish the significance and act like it is the most natural thing in the world. The less you talk about it the more they will get the picture that the subject is off limits.

If your friends are true friends, they will support your choice not matter what. And besides if you like him, ignore everyone else. as long as he makes you happy and that's what you want, than just go to school stress free without fear of judgement.

Well I think if you like him then you shouldn't care what other people have to say and your friends if they don't like your boyfriend oh well they aren't dating him so why should they care all that matters is that you are happy.

okay you said it was YOUR BOYFRIEND right so who cares what people say and how they feel as long as you like him, it shouldn't matter to them because there not the one dating him...WITH THAT SAID GO TO SCHOOL AND LOVE YOUR NEW MAN....
