It says on the 3rd day, but it was not 3 periods of 24 hours. Christ died and was buried before sunset on Friday (day 1), Saturday was the Sabbath so nothing could be done to further prepare His body (day 2), then on Sunday (day 3) the women went to annoint His body very early in the morning and He had already risen. Hope this helps.

It depends on if you are going by the roman calendar, or the hebrew calendar. The hebrew calander goes by a different measurement of time, so to them it's 3 days. By the roman calendar, it's 4 days. The bible says 3 days, so we go by the hebrew calendar. That's the way the scriptures were written, so that's what we go by.

Every Christian knows 3 days. He died Good Friday and rose on Easter Sunday = 3 days. It is said in Scripture that he rose on the first day of the Jewish week (Sunday).
