Have you read the ingredients on coca cola and done a search to see what each one does once inside your system? There's no way I'd drink one can a year, much less 7 cans a day. Think, for instance, what's happening inside that aluminum can. Might do a search on the nasty effects of aluminum. I refuse to drink from a can - or anything that's been stored in aluminum. I refuse to use aluminum to cook with. It's been associated with Alzheimer's, a problem I'd prefer to avoid. In short, the answer to your question is this: Ain't no way! It isn't safe or healthy to drink 7 cans of coca cola [or any soft drink] a day. Maybe a good science or health report you could do? For extra credit, perhaps?

Actually it's not so good.

Read the label. Check out the amount of sugar, sodium and caffeine. I'm betting by the 7th cola you're pretty amped up!!

the sugar, sodium and caffeine all increase blood pressure (bad for the heart AND the arteries) and the caffeine increases heart rate. Sugar has not dietary benefit and, unless you're REALLY active, just makes you fat. Caffeine is also a diuretic (which affects potassium levels) and sodium causes water retention!! (But they don't counteract each other). Water retention affects electrolyte levels and muscle response ... yada yada yada

Oh yeah, and the acid in the coke actually attacks the porcelain on your teeth (if you have braces your orthodontist will go nuts because you can actually etch the little glued on squares that hold the braces on, onto your teeth. They don't want their patients to have more than 2 sodas a WEEK)

The acid in coke also leeches the calcium out of bones too. (Did you know that they use Coke syrup to dissolve the meat off of bones? and that Coca Cola company uses Coke syrup to degrease the engines on their trucks?)

Short answer, no. Not healthy

Although you may be able to get away with drinking 7 cans of soda a day, it would be very unhealthy to do so, thus not very safe. Drinking soda that much increases your sugar intake meaning gaining weight. It puts more sugar in your teeth meaning cavities. More carbonation and what ever other disgusting things in sugared sodas wears the lining of your stomach. You may get a dependence caffeine as well.
It would be wise to drink water and juice more often. Take some vitamins while your at it.

Soda can be an enjoyable beverage but everything in moderation. Also, brush you teeth every day.

1) thats a lot of caffeine! is not good for you, if you tend to be a nervous or depressive, caffeine is the worst drink for you

2) Sugar! well the lost is so long I dont know where to start! not good.. bad for your teeth, you can become pre-diabetic, gain weight and so on...

3) there is no one single ingredient in a can of coke that could be good for you! maybe the flavor and the feelings? but, is that worth get cavities, unhealthy? I dont think so... if you want try start drinking more water, or fruit drinks better for you some have sugar but at least they are full of vitamins and minerals

Only if you have a stomach made of steel. Carbonated sodas are bad for you! They are loaded with sugar and have no nutritional value. Here's a little experiment you can try. Get a cup, put 6 oz. of coke in it. Drop a nail into it and leave it alone for a few days. Then check out what the coke has done to the nail. That may change your mind. You're much better off drinking tea, fruit juices, water, vegetable juices, or protein shakes.

Too much caffeine, coca cola is highly caustic (acid) and can cause ulcers...I mean...you can pour a can of coca cola on a steak and it be almost gone by morning...

I'm a coca cola fan myself...but i never drink more than 3...and even 3 is way too many...no matter what your age.

Consider...2100 calories in coca cola alone...continue this once your metabolism slows...can we say BEER BELLY???

probably medically safe, depending upon what your Dr. says. However, if regular pop, thats a lot of sugar (carbs). If it's diet, aspartame can be very harmful to your body; (1) chemically it creates a craving for carbohydrates (2) in your body it breaks down into methanol and eventually into formaldehyde (used for embalming bodies). How good can that be for you ? Finally, Splenda is bleached(chlorinated) sugar--Google it to see how bad that i for you. Try drinking V-8 or unsweetened real fruit juices like grapefruit or orange. Water without chlorine or flouride is good and refreshing and really won't get you rusty inside.

Definitely not good for your body. Studies are now showing that more than 4 cans of cola a week are causing long term problems including osteoporosis. So, let alone the caffiene intake and the problems it has on your teeth, it is also affecting your bones.

I used to drink 4-5 cans of Mountain Dew per day. Know what happened? I got dehydrated and ended up in the hospital. All of that caffeine and sugar are very bad for your system. Drink plenty of water every day and cut out those sodas. Your body will thank you!
