I think I would keep my distance from this lady. Sounds like she's up to something.

This lady did a terrible thing to your mother. Calling Social Services on someone with no crucial evidence of child endangerment is a BIG DEAL! And most definatly should not be taken lightly. Don't involve yourself with people like that. Let her be miserable alone and not in your company. She could end up screwing you over too!

How do you know she called them? If it was that obvious and if you are on good terms with your mother, then don't speak to that woman. It sounds like she is not a real friend. I don't understand why you would want to be around her. Did you ask her about why she called the social service office? This whole situation sounds strange to me.

Please, do not go over to her house. I don't know how old you are. But at least out of respect for your mom, don't go over to this lady's house. She might be being nice to you to get info on your mom. Will your mom let you go see her? If not, don't. If she said yes-go-and take your mom with you. Please, don't go alone. I wish you and your mom the best. Take care.
