I, as a loyal Canadian, am offended by the question and am exercising my right to respond with smart-aleck comments and pretend offense. LMFAO!

I have added a link to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms below, whose clause#2b allows for freedom of expression.

I am not sure if you are asking this question because you really do not know the answer or if you are just kidding around? I hope that it is the first case scenario and that you are serious?

Many people now living in other countries who do not enjoy the freedoms that we have here in Canada want to come to Canada to live and work. They know that Canada is a country that offers new hope and opportunities. Canada opens its doors to newcomers and accepts all peoples of different race, religions, ethnic backgrounds, etc.

In answer to your question, Freedom of Speech is just one of the many freedoms that we as Canadians are able to enjoy without the worry of being persecuted. I would encourage you to go the web site of the Canadian Government and check out the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to get more information. I hope that this answers your question?
