Thats good, now look up different names of birds to see what breed your bird is. Surely you asked who ever you got it from what breed a bird it was. Go to places with names of pets you post your ads under like for instance http://livedeal.com

They allow you to sell your pets for free in most cases. And it's a great site to use for looking up the breed of a pet.

Are you asking what kind of parrot he is?

If so, I can't really answer that without a picture of the bird. Just going by your description, it sounds like he could be a conure, but I really need a picture to tell for sure. There could be several birds that match that color description.

I truthfully have a nanday conure and he has a black head and beak, eco-friendly bosy, in trouble-free terms a sprint blue on his wings and interestingly like he has crimson socks on. Sounds form of what you're describing.

It could be a conure or an amazon. You need to find out because they have different health needs. if it is a conure then you need to watch out for it catching a blood disease that runs in their family and could kill them.

Almost sounds like your refering to a Nanday Conure. If you have a photo I would love to see it and then I can tell you what species of bird it is.
