Ratio of thoughtful answers to sarcastic zingers: it seems to have dropped to about 1:10. Is that bad? Is it a sign I'm spending way too much time here and getting jaded?

Nah, I would say that's about par for the course. It depends on your mood and our moods differ on any given week or even day depending on our circumstances. You'll answer according to how you feel at the time, just like the rest of us. Don't sweat it.
