Cut it, it will not harm him in any way. It will only help him by making it grow to its full length much faster than just letting it be.
Think of cutting dead ends off human hair to make it grow faster...
Help him: Cut his whisker where it is broken.

My cat has a broken whisker too, it kind of looks like a split end, this happens a lot. Yeah, just leave it alone, if it doesn't bother Buddy then he'll be ok.

it probably wouldn't hurt the cat to cut it, but personally i'd just let the cat deal with it themselves. whisker length is important to a cat because it corresponds to the cat's width and lets a cat know what spaces it can and can't fit through. I doubt the cat's safety is dependent upon one whisker, but cat's are good at taking care of themselves and unless the whisker seems to be bothering your cat i'd probably leave it alone.

Sounds sad. Definitely let nature take its course. That would just be mean to cut it off!

Let nature take its course. If you cut it off...you may screw up the balance of everthing and your cat may walk funny for a while. Just kidding. Either way..but I would just leave the wisker alone.

I would cut the broken part off because it doesn't hurt them if you trim it
