Pretty much for now yes. Leave it alone. It's one of those things that sometimes ends up where ya'll are best off as friends. I mean i have a friend like that and i ended up adopting him as a "brother". Seems when i was with someone he wasn't and when he was with someone i wasn't.
Just go on with your life. It is what it is. Don't wonder about it. Live life for the Now not the later.
Had to edit here....just saw the other answers...realized so much what is wrong with dating around here and why people are so pathetic! Why the hell should you wait and play the little game of flirting with her or try to woo her away from this boyfriend of hers etc....please! Ummm if you wanna play the game they are telling you how to play....well they aren't even giving out the right rules...and ummm no ONE is worth this okay? There are waayyyyyyy too many other people out there!!! READY AND WILLING FOR YA!!

I'm in the same boat. The question is...does she STILL have a crush on you? and if her crush was in elementary school and now you're in high school...i'd say it's hopeless.

Is it hopeless you ask....I say NO! Never worry about whom YOUR girl is dating. You treat her like a girlfriend and she will become yours, and not even realize she is doing it. If you speak to her like a girlfriend, ask her to hang out one on one, and do all the things you would if she was your girlfriend it will have a two fold effect: It will show her what a great guy we all know you are, and she will rekindle er feelings; it will drive her current bozo nuts and he will sabotage their relationship himself. You will come out looking like roses.....but when you have the girl, you have to ask yourself - do you want to be with a girl whose affections can so easily be swayed from her man?

too bad, you were very late to realize that you feel something more for her, i mean its hard for us women that the guy we like does not feel the same way for us, thats why the heart gives up
its not hopeless, since they are just dating, i just hope she is not in love with the personality of the person she is dating right now,
i mean give it a shot,
but be sure that you like her and its not your ego who just wants to get the woman who liked you before
be sure that what you feel for her, is worth destroying a blooming relationship with her partner right now

If you see her a lot. Do a little subtle flirting to just get her attention at first. If she bites, then you know that she isn't too serious about whomever she is dating. Just every time you see her flirt a little.....

Someday you two may get together but for now butt out of her relationship. Chances are it won't last forever and then you can make your move.

No it is not hopeless. She may have felt way more for you then she does for him. You will have to ask her to find out.

Wait until she breaks up with the other guy. Until then, there's really nothing that you can do.
