There is no step by step...when ur in-love, u know it. It wld start from attraction, then liking, then love builts up when u get to know him/her more and they suit what ur looking for.

well i think love is a step by step process but FALLING in love is altogether different. thats why they call it falling, you cant help it and its usually hard to get up. it wrecks all your senses a little, makes you a,little silly and you have all these warm yingly feeling, smiling all the time, putting that persons need before your own. you have a serious amount of lust also. for a little while its good and you want it to last forever but it usually doesnt happen.

i think that when you LEARN to love someone, altho its not as explosive and exciting as FALLING in love, its more mutual and mature thus making it more real. you learn who that person is, they learn who you are and you accept, and love each other with all your faults and downfalls. now that doesnt just happen over night, love takes alot of work, give and take. step by step and compromise. love is knowing no matter how badly you mess up, no matter how terrible you look in the morning, the man or woman you are in love with will always love you back.

There are all kinds of ways that people fall in love... and it usually means getting to know the person first. I have heard everything from "it was love at first sight" (which is very rare btw!) to "one day I looked at him and realized I was in love"...

So I think the correct answer would be that real love is usually a gradual thing. But it comes in various flavours. :)

Love is wanting the other person to be happy. I don't know how to break that down into steps.

You lust after them, you meet them, talk talk talk, get to know each other, trust each other, depend on each other, help each other, put them before you, worry over their safety/health, and in the end, give each other's souls, minds, and bodies to each other, binding two as one, hence, love.

Any of these can come before or after each other, some may be excluded or more may be added, a step by step guide is impossible to create.

It is just one big wham-then you are in trouble. When you start to feel like they might be special to you-you can pull away immediately to save yourself the trouble of falling in love.

I think so... Love does not start at once. First there is interest and care, then there is that feelings that you have more than that, which remains ambiguous to you...then comes love ...good luck
