does the same apply for dudes? cuz i truely belive this because my best friend is EXACTLY Like my daddy and to me, daddy is the awesomest person in the whole world. My best friend is sweet, funny, nice, goofy, childish, and acts immature in a playful way.. and i love him to death for it! he's my best friend! and thats exactly like daddy. All the guys i've ever liked were exactly like him and daddy.. in looks as well! they are all tall and have blue eyes... i dont know why.. i have no eye color preference, but they all ended up having blue eyes.
i was wondering if it was the same because my best friend i mentioned above has a mom who is a total B and all his girlfriends are rude and bitchy!!! They all have serious trust and jealousy issues as well... just like his mom.

1) imprint on people they love
2) want to become like them
3) are attracted to people who remind them of their qualities

I think that this is mostly true---Most of my guy friends girlfriends are very much like their boyfriends' mothers. I've also found myself in a couple of relationships where I thought, "He's acting like my father, and that is NOT a good thing." I'm not attracted to men who look very much like my father, though. He is short, fat, hairy, and just not pretty or handsome. Yuck.

I've read in the Reader's Digest that guys date girls that look and act like their mums. I'm a lot like my boyfriend's mother too. Haha.
