You've got it all wrong. Jesus died for our sins BECAUSE we all have inherited a sin nature. It has to be a conscious decision made on the part of each person to accept Jesus' sacrifice for his or her own sins. It's not (and never was intended to be) a blanket thing that everyone gets automatically. Jesus didn't die to eradicate sin from the world. I don't know what you've been reading, but it's sure not the Bible! Get your facts straight by reading the Bible itself, not what others say about it.

We have natural sin because we're born under the sin-curse God placed upon Adam and Eve after their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Babies are innocent of this curse until they reach an age of accountability and maturity in their teaching so that they can UNDERSTAND their need of salvation. Jesus died not to overcome sin, but to REMOVE sin from us! The Bible encourages people to "Come ye out from among the world and be a SEPERATE people." It means that we are exhorted to live Christian lives as an example to those still in sin! The acceptance of salvation is FREELY given! God doesn't force this on anyone. If He did, then there'd be no free will and Jesus' crucifixtion would've been a waste of time!

When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, that is when sin entered the world. After that, we are all born with a "sin nature". The only person who was without sin is Jesus, as the bible says. That Jesus died on a cross to pay for our sins does not eliminate that we will still sin.

God created the first human pair perfect, and designed them to live forever. He placed them in a paradise garden and told them to be fruitful and fill the earth with offspring.
This was God's orginal purpose for mankind.Everlasting life on a paradise earth.
However, when Adam and Eve sinned they lost everything.Their sinning resulted in their growing old and eventually dying. And as their offspring we all inherit this imperfection. We all inherit sin and death. You could say we have been enslaved to sin.
Jehovah God allowed his perfect Son,Jesus to come to earth as a perfect human in order that by offering his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice,he may buy back what Adam(a perfect human) had lost.Jesus was therefore able to balance the scales of justice,so to speak.By his sacrifical death,he was able to free us from that enslavement to sin and death. While we are all still born with inherited sin,we can by exercising faith in the ransom have the hope of everlasting life once again.
John 3:16 tells us that "God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son,in order that everyone who exercises faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life".

We are born into sin by nature of Adam and Eve disobedience in the garden of Eden. All humans have inherited sin from the first human creation--Adam and thus it passed on to us.

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.

1 John 1:8
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

1 Corinthians 15:56
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Jesus is our Lamb worthy to take away the sins of the world.

Job 33:9
'I am pure and without sin; I am clean and free from guilt.

2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

If you are saying that we are born with sin, that is wrong. Babies have no sin and are innocent of any wrongdoing. We become accountable for our sins when we learn the difference between right and wrong. There isn't one of us that can go through life without committing sin and Jesus knew this. That is why He took our place on that cross and gave us a way to have our sins forgiven. It is up to us to find that way in the Bible and obey it.We cannot be forgiven without the blood of Christ covering our sins.

yaha: "Natural sin" is what is called in lay-men's terms as Human Nature ! This human nature is inherent within us all and is allowed to be by God (He created the first man, Adam on the earth with Satan - a very subtle, fallen Arch-Angel), to firstly, show us that we are limited to it [human nature] therefore, we are not God (Holy and of a Devine nature) and fall short ! Now; this is all fine, only if and when, we come to see where we fall short and are convicted by our consciences to want to do something about it ! When we decide to do something about it (the sins resulting from our human nature, that is) , we can go or look to Jesus Christ for forgiveness of our sins, become baptized and receive the empowering Holy Spirit to help us out ! Jesus Christ lived in the human form and experienced the very same pulls and desires we all have. Since He [Jesus] was God in the flesh, He never gave in to those pulls or desires; (in other words, He never sinned ) ! We now, have an opportunity to accept His sacrifice (death on the cross), for our sins committed. (Sin is always against God, remember.) Jesus, therefore, paid the "bill" for our individual sins and all we have to do is accept that sacrifice and indulge in a RELATIONSHIP with Him. This state or condition of GRACE (undeserved or unmerited pardon) we now, are in, is called, "sanctification" (means: set apart for a Holy purpose). In other words, we are now, both, called and chosen to be sons and daughters of God the Father. The terminology we are oftentimes, refered to is that of "Christian ". Since we are now Christians, we are abounding in GRACE and because we are abounding or living in a state of grace, we perform "good works" - that is we demonstrate the love of God [Jesus] to other people. Although we will never, as long as, we are human do this perfectly, we have a "direct line" to Jesus Christ when we sin. Our sins are then, cleaned up and we continue on, doing "good works" towards others, wherever, we may be. The bottom-line is: as long as we humans have "natural sin" - human nature - we will sin and require a relationship with Jesus Christ to be made acceptable to our Heavenly Father !!!

The Bible says "that the wages of sin is death". When we transgress God's laws, we deserve to die spiritually, which is separation from God in Hell. When Jesus died for our sins, He didn't take sin out of the world, He just paid the penalty of our sin.

We are born of flesh while Jesus descended and was born of the spirit. He was the only one who could have defeated Satan. No man could have done what he did. Sinless, Praise him.
