Sounds to me like you might be wanting more of a challege, and that after finding out they like you, you basically get bored.
Not knowing how old you are....but I would suggest that you challege yourself to acheive your dreams and goals and while you're doing that, you will stumble on a man who stimulates you and challenges you in ways you've never experienced before because he will be MORE LIKE YOU....and therefore, less boring.

You want the attention or the chase and once they give in and say they feel the same way, it's no longer fun....?

Lust. that's all it is. You feel like you're attracted, give, but the feeling goes away soon because thtere's no real connection. It could be that the two of you lack communication also.
