Jesus is God, the third person of the Trinity. He wasn't created, but always was. Jesus was the creator of all things, chapter 1 of Colossians. When Jesus came, He was fully man, and fully God. He died on the Cross, and rose on the third day, proving He was God. Revelation 1:11, Jesus says: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last".

‘But isn’t Jesus called a god in the Bible?’ someone may ask. This is true. Yet Satan is also called a god. (2 Corinthians 4:4) At John 1:1, which refers to Jesus as “the Word,” some Bible translations say: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” But notice, verse 2 says that the Word was “in the beginning with God.” And while men have seen Jesus, verse 18 says that “no man hath seen God at any time.” (Authorized or King James Version) So we find that some translations of verse 1 give the correct idea of the original language when they read: “The Word was with God, and the Word was divine,” or was “a god,” that is, the Word was a powerful godlike one. (An American Translation) Clearly, Jesus is not Almighty God. In fact, Jesus spoke of his Father as “my God” and as “the only true God.”
Did Jesus ever say that he was God? No, he never did. Rather, in the Bible he is called “God’s Son.” And he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” Also, Jesus explained that there were some things that neither he nor the angels knew but that only God knew. (Mark 13:32) Further, on one occasion Jesus prayed to God, saying: “Let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If Jesus were the Almighty God, he would not have prayed to himself, would he? In fact, following Jesus’ death, the Scripture says: “This Jesus God resurrected.” (Acts 2:32) Thus the Almighty God and Jesus are clearly two separate persons. Even after his death and resurrection and ascension to heaven, Jesus was still not equal to his Father.
As for the “Holy Spirit,” the so-called third Person of the Trinity, this is not a person but God’s active force. John the Baptizer said that Jesus would baptize with holy spirit, even as John had been baptizing with water. Hence, in the same way that water is not a person, holy spirit is not a person. (Matthew 3:11) What John foretold was fulfilled when, following the death and resurrection of Jesus, holy spirit was poured out on his followers gathered in Jerusalem. The Bible says: “They all became filled with holy spirit.” (Acts 2:4) Were they “filled” with a person? No, but they were filled with God’s active force. Thus the facts make clear that the Trinity is not a Bible teaching. Actually, long before Jesus walked the earth gods were worshiped in groups of three, or trinities, in places such as ancient Egypt and Babylon.

I hate the christian religion with a passion, but I can give you an easy analogy.
Let's say that you are to have a daughter. You being a female giving birth to a female makes her your dughter. But both humans none the less. Now if christians say that jesus is the son of GOD, and GOD is his father, then wouldn't that make him GOD also. Just logically speaking.
But once again, I hate the christian religion with a passion. It's like comparing christ and krishna. Why are one set of peoples waaaayyyyy more righteous than the other? When both are considered to be lord. Just a thought.
And you can argue/debate/converse with christians all day long, but they can never agree amongst themselves, so it is a dead issue. Some say he is son of GOD. Some say he is GOD. Some say that there is a trinity and jesus is of the 3. Some would say that jesus is the trinity and GOD. It is a dead argument.
Salaam!
Edit: From the injil. Jesus never called himself the son of GOD, though he did referr to GOD as the father. Now if the reciever was to hear an individual say that GOD is his father, then doesn't that reckon the perciever to aknowledge him as son of GOD with a thought of word. Just logically speaking. And in the injil, when he was questioned if he was the son of GOD, he gave no reply. Is not giving witness the same thing as giving false witness?
*note*I believe in the quran whole heartedly. This is just an open minded answer/point of view.

God did not create Jesus. Jesus is eternal just like His father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus has always existed just like his father and the Holy Spirit. If you look up the Greek word for God you will find that it is plural meaning more than one. There are three members of the Godhead. God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. They are all eternal.

God created the human body of Jesus, but before that, God the Son exists from eternity in unity with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit, One God. The human body of Jesus could die, but his divine spirit is eternal.

Jesus is not God and souls do die. God created Jesus (Colossians 1:15, 16). Jesus called God "my God and Father." I think that is pretty clear.

Jesus is the son of God, put down on this earth to die for our sins (thank goodness) God is the creator of all things (holy!), and the Holy Spirit is our Godly conscience .... The Trinity: The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost.

That's a pretty deep question, but I'll give it a go. God is completley infinite, the infinite of infinites. At our mortal level, God is incomprehensible in is infiniteness; we only know a part of him. Jesus is not seperate from God, but a part of God. God did not create Jesus just as no one created God, rather, Jesus is God incarnate on a plane of human understanding, in a corporeal body. God always was and always shall be, just as Jesus always was and shall be. You could fill a book on this subject, but this will do for a YAHOO! ANSWERS post. If you want more, talk to your local Pastor.
To the second part of your question, that is only true if you belong to one of the three faiths who share the god (God) you refer to: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. As lowly, mortal beings, who cannot even beggin to truly comprehend God, we can not claim to hold a monopoly on truth. To claim such would be to proclaim we do understand all that is to God, which, in any of those three religions, is a heresy.

Jesus is the express image of the person of God. He was not created. He is the beginning of the creation in the sense that the creation begins in him. The bible doesn’t call Jesus, God the son. Jesus existed as the image of God before he was born of a virgin. The son of God, the human being, Jesus, in whom all of the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily, was crucified, died, was buried, and arose the third day, but it was the humanity of God that did all of that, the fullness of the Godhead didn’t cease to exist when the humanity of God died.
