Is bush the one in the bible where it talks about "wolves in sheeps clothing"? Or does he not even qualify for that? Personally, if I were a christian I would be ashamed and embarresed but I'd truly like to get a "feel" of what most "Christians" today are feeling about him and his claims of being religious and of the Christian faith?

Bush is like any religious extremist. He plays the religion card when it suits him and uses it to get his way.

No Bush has not harmed me at all. While I may not agree with some of the things he has done in office, I certainly do agree with many. The one thing I respect about Bush is that if he tells you he's going to burn your house down tomorrow, I suggest you find a Realtor tonight. I find no fault in him as a Christian.

Christianity is not based on the actions or lack of actions by one individual. There are millions of Christians, so, no I don't let one determine how I feel about my faith. Each person will give an account to God and that is between them and God. If one atheist is a jerk does it make you feel ashamed?

The bible tells me to work out my own salvation, not to comment on another's. I pray for guidance and wisdom for the President, and I ask this of the Father in the name of His son.

Anything other than that about President Bush, and his relationship with Jesus, isn't my business.

My religious faith is not based on what the President does or fails to do. My religious faith is based on a power higher than any government entity. President Bush holds his position as the leader of our country because God deemed it necessary to put him in that position. When God decides for someone else to hold that position, I will pray for them, as I have for this president. I just hope the next person to hold that position believes in the same God as the majority of Americans.

Why would Bush factor into my religious beliefs? He is not me, nor his he God. My relationship with God is private and my own. Besides, Bush is so obviously stupid, why would anyone let themselves trust him with any aspect of their life? Oh yeah, because 51% of all Americans couldn't figure out what the other 49% of us knew back in November 2000.

Not at all.
Bush stuck to his beliefs, not being people pleasers. Many of the Democrats/liberals love the attention, and Bush REFUSES to give it to them. Why? He may make mistakes (we all do) but he is a praying man.
As a Christian, I wish that the church had the guts to stand up to those who oppose them like he does. He faces the storm holding his ground.

I believe President Bush is a strong Christian and is steadfast in his beliefs...He's had a lot of challenges to rise to and I'm glad we've had him to make these hard decisions and stand by them.

No. I don't think of Bush as a Christian, any more than Clinton, with his Bible in his hand. They are both phonies.
