The point of Christ's sacrifice was to be the blood sacrifice for ALL sin for ALL time! Without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin! If we still had to perform sacrifice, WE'D ALL HAVE TO DIE to be perfected! How then could we be what God wanted us to be if we had to DIE to achieve salvation? We are instead commanded in the Bible to "Mortify (kill) ye the deeds of the flesh." This is our sacrifice unto God through repentance, water baptism, sanctification and being indwelt with the Holy Ghost. God knows the sincerity behind our asking for forgiveness being real or not, because the Scripture says that the very Word of God is ".....sharper than any two edged sword, piercing asunder even unto the joints and the marrow and is a DISCERNER (knower) of the THOUGHTS and the INTENTS OF THE HEART."

Well, If Jesus wasn't crucified it would only be because God the Father had a different plan for the Salvation of His people. Unless you want to go with the idea that he lived longer before he was crucified so that he taught more and had more experiences with the people. The thing is, if you were to go with a hypothetical that he wasn't crucified, it would not only completely throw out alot of the New Testament, but it would completely destroy most of the Old Testament, esspecially every single Prophets writings, both the major and the minor Prophets. This is not an easy assignment you have there. If there is no salvation then we have no ability to gain forgiveness thru repentance which means each one of us would be accountable for every single sin we commit. Go through your day and be really honest and write down every time you sin. You will find that you sin twenty times before lunch, believe me. We sin without even thinking, but to do right takes fore-thought. We would be in big trouble, and I mean ALL of us. Try it for a day and see how you do.

In the Old Testament the people used pure, spotless, unblemished lambs as a sacrifice for the remission of sins. The shedding of blood is what they called it. When the time was right, God Himself came to this economy through the Virgin Birth. He walked among us for 30+ yrs, was tortured, crucified, and had become the perfect sacrifice for all ofthe sins of humanity. And He rose again after 3 days in death and hell. He did this so that we can have eternal life with him.
All we have to do is to be BornAgain, St. John 3:5. And we get Born again by followlng the plan taught by Jesus, and preached by Peter on the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2:38. Study it out!!!

The Christ is God, incarnate (John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9) and only God can satisfy the Law requirements of perfection to cleanse Mankind of sin.

Sin creates seperation between the individual and God. The Law has been broken and the punishment for breaking the Law is death. He was made under the Law (Gal. 4:5-6) and He fulfilled it perfectly. The Christ's sacrifice, offered to God the Father on our behalf, is of infinite value.

All Humanity has been cleansed by the blood of the lamb. Jesus becomes the bearer of our Sin, that we might be free of sin (2 Cor. 5:21).

In summation;
“For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Jesus, being the perfect sacrifice, paid for my sins on the cross of Calvary. However, just as John 3:16 tells us, that forgiveness is extended to them who believe in Jesus. Those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their savior, will not have their sins forgiven at judgment.

The bible says there are none good. Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That is why everyone needs a savior. Not everyone will admit that.

Jesus was crucified and then deified to control people through fear of reprisal. A better question might be: If God is so powerful, why did he deem it necessary to make his son suffer to open the gates of heaven once again. If he is truly a god, then it would seem logical that he could come up with a better way to alleviate the 'sins' of the people he created than to throw his son in the mix and have him brutally killed (isn't that a sin in itself?). Wake up people. It's a story 'written by people that thought the sun was magic' (a very poignant Seth MacFarlane quote)

Romans 6
Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
5If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.

8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

It is a long script and I will let you draw your own conclusions write me if you wish to discuss further. (I am trying to be brief btw)
