It could be the energy drink or the combination with the drug. If your blood pressure is normal it should pass. Check the ingredient list and check with your doctor about any interactions with the drug. Also check with your doctor to see if the drug is causing it. Also If you were recently exercising it have have just delay your heart rate from coming back into normal resting range.

I don't know what librax is, but the energy drink will definitely affect your heart rate. The energy drink contains stimulants, which act on the sympathetic nervous system to increase your heart rate. It will pass, but I wouldn't make a habit out of those energy drinks. They could cause hypertension if used regularly.

Please see the web pages for Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium Bromide (generic name) Librax (brand name). The combination of chlordiazepoxide and clidinium bromide is used to treat ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome. It helps relieve stomach spasms and abdominal cramps. Chlordiazepoxide is indicated for the treatment of insomnia, anxiety and panic attacks. It has also been used as a treatment for acute alcohol or opiate withdrawal, as well as relief from Chron's and ulcerative colitis. Consult your doctor.

Yes, of course. It sounds like part of the "energy" is stimulating the heart rate and when you are not exercising, it is pumping away without pumping the blood through your system - like tachacardia when the heart speeds way up but just pulses uselessly.

A few years ago, I answered the door and there stood 3 cops, 2 or three DEA agents, and someone else I don't recall, maybe a Federal Marshall. They said they received a tip my son was dealing drugs!!! He had just left to get some food and was not there at the time, but 2 of his "friends" were. Not knowing this, I let them in to search the house. Guess what they found? You got it. One of his "friends" brought a bag a pot and claimed it belonged to my son. This all started because a "good" neighbor saw his friends go around the back of the house and claimed he was dealing out of his bedroom window. All it was is that my son was embarrassed that our house was a mess and had his friends go around the back. The police didn't believe us, filed a report, and put our house under surveillance for a long time thereafter. In addition, whenever anything suspicious happened in the neighborhood, guess who the police questioned. This "good neighbor?" He had approached my son to score drugs and got pissed when my son told him he didn't do drugs, and never dealt. My son found out from a couple of friends that this "good neighbor" called in an anonymous tip to get even, but we were never able to prove it. Pissed?? You bet your *** I was pissed. We were on pins and needles for months thereafter.

The energy drink is full of caffeine. It will certainly increase your heart rate and can cause palpitations. Lay off the caffeine, you will be fine
