I wanted to go to Japan. My desire relates to God's will. God may have his will, but I need to pray in order for me to make my free will choices match with his. A common misconception is that we should do nothing because God's will is what will happen. But we have to actively participate and make choices in our life to match his will. Others' free will will get in the way of God's will. That is because sin can creep up and block God's will, in the smallest of ways.

For example, I can say without hesitancy it was in God's will for me to go to college. However, for me not to apply to any college would make it impossible for me to go to college. Therefore my conscious choice or free will has blocked God's will and I will not go to college and therefore have not fulfilled his will. You cannot let things pass you by. Actively make choices in your life that will help you go along with God's will. Every Christian should aspire to make choices that satisfy God's will.

An obvious thing not to do is sin. That is clearly not in God's will. Reading the Bible will help you correlate what is pure with practical, everyday actions and establish the sinful natures of people from then that speak true to everyone of today.

But to directly answer your question, yes I have had a situation that I prayed for and God answered it. But he only answered it because of what I prefaced above. Had I not actively and free-willingly taken steps to achieve my goal and God's will, it would not have occurred. Prayer has changed my life because I was able to achieve God's will through prayer and understanding of what I had to do. My experience is detailed in the following three paragraphs.

"I still don't know God's exact will for my life. But I am sure it involves Japanese. How do I know? I was able to produce $4269 literally in a matter of hours for me to go to Japan. It was the last day for me to pay for my trip to Japan. I knew I had to go because I had not seen a Japanese friend for two years. I hosted him (as in home stay) two years prior, and we wrote back every so often. I prayed for a long time because I thought it was over. I thought that that was it. I asked God without bias, which was hard because I was passionate about Japan, that if he did not have it in his will for me to go, then I should not go.

Through my tears and prayers I came up with a solution. My grandma could front the money, and I could get a job to pay it off. I never wanted a job during school, but I knew I had to go. Let’s get this straight-she doesn’t loan anyone money. Ever. Frankly, she doesn’t really like Japan. But I just told her it was on her, and she did say no for about an hour. She did give in, but that was after I myself had thought that it was truly over. She fronted the money. Literally, as the tour company was calling me to say she had to cancel my reservation permanently, I picked up the phone and arranged it. We even had to overnight the money because they wouldn’t take Discover.

Okay, long story. What’s my point? I had been studying Japanese in high school for three years, going on four. It was an absolute blast, and my Japanese friend and I are best friends. I know through all this that God had it in his will for me to go to Japan. The tour company let me delay my payment for over a month pas the due date, and two weeks after the late date, and even two more days after we had promised some payment. They waited that long, and my grandma said yes to an impossible question. If I had brushed those odds off, I would be stupid. It was literally impossible without God opening my grandma’s heart to let her front the money. It was clearly God's will. I know that God has it in his will that I do something in Japan. My point is that God would shove aside all human willpower and pave this road for me."

I quoted because although they were my words, it was from a previous answer. That experience holds very true to this question. A lot of praying has changed my life. I now know that God's will for my life involves Japan. I may not know exactly what he wants me to do, but I am working on it. I have actively taken steps to get to Japan by continuing my studies of Japan in college. That means I applied to colleges with a Japanese major; not minor or certificate. I need to challenge myself, and God wants me to challenge myself so I achieve my own goal of being fluent in all areas of Japanese.

Prayed is simply talking to God. Many people tend to think prayer is ritual. In fact, when I first joined a Christian church, one of the earlier sermons challenged me to pray to God for an hour every day. I thought, an hour?!? I barely have an hour of free time for myself, let alone God. The pastor said it takes steps. Start in five-minute intervals and go from there. Guess what? I never went through with that plan. But that's because I thought prayer was long and boring. Again, prayer is just talking to God. Talking. Once I get conversations going, it's hard to stop. I am 'talking to God' upwards of half an hour, maybe forty minutes every night. And it's not hard. Talking to God is prayer. Really.

So pray to God, and tell him about what is going on. Sure, he knows what's going on, but by talking to God, you inadvertently get to solve your problems, and let out emotions that he can genuinely understand and help you get through. And when the time comes for you to want a change, he'll be ready to hear about it.

But God may reject your asking of change. That's when it does not go along with his will. Give it time and patience, and never forget that when you pray, God will listen. God answers all prayers, but many times in alternative ways or in very small ways. Like months leading up to my trip to Japan, I prayed that I would get to go to Japan for free. Ridiculous, really-my idea was that the money just appear or I win a contest or something. But God listened. And you know what? Essentially, I did go for free. Sure, I am still paying that $4269 back, but at the time, it was free. Considering how amazing and life-changing the experience was for me, you can't put any price on it.

You can't put any price on what God has to offer to you. Prayer opens up the mind, and the soul to his will. It is a very powerful tool that we have. Thankfully, you can even do it in your head. God is there for you. Accept his gift of prayer and discover what God has in store for your life.

I pray to God everyday. I know all of those prayers are heard and answered because I pray for God's will to be done. I pray for people who are sick and some die. Our church has a prayer list and one member that we have been praying for recently has made incredible progress when she was not expected to make it through the night last week. God hears our prayers but the answers are not always want we want to hear. My husband wanted to leave his job about three years ago. He wasn't happy. We prayed about it. A week later he got a great offer. We prayed about that and decided it wasn't the right choice, even though it initially seemed that way. He stuck it out at his job that he didn't like. Changes started happening with new owners that were Christians. He got a promotion, bonuses and 5% ownership in the company. It was God's will. He's never been happier when working. We almost missed the opportunity because the other job offer came along. You have to be open to what God wants in response to your prayers. It's not always what we are asking for. Let Him lead you.

May God Bless you.

Yes, #1-Yes, when I wanted a situation to change. Pray took it where I could not. But the truth of it is my heart had to be truthful and honest, because I know God see all things. #2-I know by prayer my life has changed. Because prayer is of God who created all things. And He can not work with junk. So He beings all things to be told in the light. And when this happens it’s like anew life because your free from the darkness and gilt, that eats us up And it’s wonderful.

God has answered my prayers many times. I remember when I was feeling sick and I had a fever, felt nauseated and my legs felt like weights when I walked. I prayed to God and at the moment He took it away and I felt better just like that. He has gotten me this far through life and I know he will help along in the future. I feel prayer has impacted my life in a good way.

Yes, my prayers were answered. Prayer has changed my life in many ways. Prayer deepens my faith in God, because God proves to me that He is alive and in control of things. If I am good, God helps me in everything. If I am sometimes not so good, God makes me realize I am wrong and He puts me back in the right path. God helps me in small and big things. He is really awesome. There is no doubt in my mind He exists and loves us all.

God promises to answer your prayers whatever you ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
Although God created mankind you have to acknowledge/invite Him in your life as you are now. You have to belong to Him. If you pray and you don't belong to Him. naturally. your prayer won't be answered. Otherwise, He would say,"I don't know you."
Surely, He can change your life if you want to. Just a simple prayer: Father Almighty I want you to be my personal God. Come into my life through Jesus Christ who shed His precious blood to wash away all my sins. Let the Holy Spirit help me understand your Word so I would know you. Amen.

Well I put a challenge to God, I had not been having my period for about 4 months went to the doctor and he said that I was infertile. So me being a Hindu I wrote a prayer and sent it to be burned and read by God through our sacred fire. I set the date as Feburary 22, 2007 for it to start. On Feburary 19 it started. That didn't happen when I prayed to Jesus or Allah only Ganesha. No one can tell me that Ganesha is not real and doesn't exist. He actually listened and cared. Jai Ganesha Deva!

you have have been given 2 issues right here: First, you're assuming that the only thank you to restoration an amputation is for the spontaneous regeneration of a limb. Many amputees have their prayers replied with prosthetic units. 2nd, you're assuming that God could undo issues that he's desperate at the instant are not reversible. shall we in basic terms besides ask why God does not regenerate the palms of apes, or why he does not regrow the heads of the decapitated, or why he does not advance people who're lifeless, or heal a pig who's in a sausage grinder. it incredibly is a stupid question, incredibly. some issues are everlasting. they are not reversible with the help of any quantity of prayer, and that they are additionally no longer reversible by using our suited use of technological awareness. yet we pay attention you (and the "amputees" guy) complaining that failure to heal amputees is info that God does not exist, and yet no longer stating that scientific technological awareness failing to heal amputees is a shortcoming of scientific technological awareness.
