Get UBUNTU. It's a free, reliable and up to date operating system. Also you get all of the software that you will ever need FREE!!!
The office suite included with UBUNTU is OpenOffice. It's compatible with MS and other office suites.

No it doesn't, no versions of any Windows Operating system including Vista does not come with MS Office. C'mon really, we're talking Microsoft here, Bill Gates isn't gonna throw in 200.00 software with his OS ;)
