Ok. Here we go.

I am going to bleach my hair white. But first!
Over the summer I dyed my hair brown (I‘m blond). Then when school started I dyed it black. It pretty healthy now. A few split ends but nothing really ‘wrong’ with it. Before I bleach it I want to get it as light as I can (right now it’s dark-brown with small black patches here and there. Real pretty. >.<). I’ve been striping it with cheep shampoo, it works, and swimming in a pool. Also works.

Anyways I can speed this up? The lighter it is the better I guess ^___^

What I use to get the color out of my hair or to fade pretty well is to wash it with dish soap - such as Dawn. If you wash your hair a couple time with it, you should see a fairly drastic change in the color.

I would think that the bleaching would take all of it out, but if you go to a beauty supply store there's some sort of color-undo product (can't remember the name, it's been so long) it's fairly expensive--$20-30 and I think it works best right after you color and get an "oops" mistake but it might be worth a shot. Good luck.

It's really hard to get the really dark hair color out of your hair without bleaching it. The darker the color.. the harder it its. I've been trying to get my hair lighter and even tried to have it highlighted a lighter color to blend it in till it grows out longer. The highlighting didn't work since my I died my hair the really dark brown. I'm in the process of letting my hair grow out and gradually cutting the dark color off. I'll never color it sooooo dark again. I didn't want to do the stripping process because I was afraid it would damage my hair. Right now my hair is healthy.

Yes, go to a laundrymat, if you live near one and purchase one of the small boxes of TIDE detergent. Just use plain ol' Tide, not with bleach or anything else added to it. It will strip the color out of your hair. A very dear friend of mine who used to do my hair for over 30 years used to tell all of us girls this, as we, like you, used to color our hair every other week and in order to keep from burning it up, this was her recommendation and it worked. It was cheap and our parents didn't mind if we purchased laundry detergent. Hope your hair turns out like you want it to.

go to Sally beauty supply and get hair stripper, it comes in a little bottle and you put it on your hair to take all the color out, then you can color it whatever color you want...I have to do this whenever i color my hair, I have red hair, which doesn't dye easily!
