Given your question history, I have to wonder if you're a mother at all; a short while ago, you asked a question about your daughter's cancer, and now you say she's pregnant. I think you need to get a grip on something approaching reality.

Ouch, I would support her as much as you can. I am sorry for your loss by the way. Try to have her stay in school and be the grandmother you now are. Help her as much as you can. She probably didn't mean to get pregnant, but she probably didn't know what protection was. She learned what sex was and that takes two. It must be hard on her too. Realize that you are only there to help. Aid your daughter in taking care of her child, or have her consider adoption. As hard as this is you have a daughter who really needs you. She is not an adult and she may have difficulties in her pregnancy.

Oh and sorry about that person who seems to have no sympathy for the things that have happened.

OK...I AM A 25 YEAR OLD FEMALE WITH 2 CHILDREN...A CO-WORKER OF MINE JUST FOUND OUT THAT HER 18 AND 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS ARE BOTH PRENANT.....YOUR DAUGHTER DOES NOT YET HAVE THE ABILITY TO HANDLE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING A MOTHER....WHICH MEANS LIKE YOU SAID...YOU WOULD BE THE ONE PROBABLY RAISING IT...AND YOU AREN'T READY FOR THAT CHALLENGE AGAIN B/C YOU JUST LOST YOUR DAUGHTER TO CANCER (SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS)....WELL...YOU CAN SUGGEST AN ABORTION....ADOPTION......OR YOU CAN TAKE ON THE ROLE.....I ALWAYS FEEL THAT GOD HAS HIS WAY OF TAKING CARE OF HIS SONS AND DAUGHTERS...AND THAT THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS QUITE YET....MAYBE THIS IS GOD'S WAY OF FILLING A HOLE IN YOUR HEART FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR DAUGHTER BY BRINGING A NEW LIFE INTO IT...BY RECONNECTING YOUR FAMILY.....NO MATTER WHAT IT IS A GIFT...JUST THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT EVERYTHING...AND LET YOUR DAUGHTER KNOW HER OPTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES.

One doesn't get pregnant on accident. In order for her to get pregnant she HAD to have participated so it wasn't an "accident"...I suggest you stop looking through those rose colored glasses and realize that a CHILD is going to give birth and that CHILD is no longer going to be a CHILD after she gives birth, you also had better hope that because of your daughter's age there are no major complications during her pregnancy and you can pretty well plan on either a pre mature birth or low birthweight infant when it is born, which may require that infant to remain in hospital in the nicu, and that isn't going to be cheap. I suggest you check up on your health insurance and see what they cover as far as minor children and THEIR pregnancies because an awful lot don't cover pregnancy/birth for a child of 12.

First of all no one accidentally gets pregnant. It sounds to me like she knew exactly what she was doing with her boyfriend (pst, 12 is much too young for a girl to have a boyfriend).

12 is much too young to get pregnant and I don't mean to alarm you but the younger the age, the higher risk she is at for losing her own life in giving birth.

You can recommend she get an abortion.

She may have a 'life long dream' to have children but that dream will have to wait until she is at least of legal age -- 18 years old.

Good luck.

I truly believe that people who lie about things for attention, whether it be here or in the real world, will one day be paid back. Perhaps one day you will have a 12 yr old daughter pregnant, and truly need advice. You remember that when you are crying and asking "why".

Yikes! You need to see a doctor to find out if it is even healthy for her to carry a baby that young.
